Duplicate contacts

Each time I sync from my mac address book, some of my contacts are written as new contact in soocial. After a few sync, this contacts appear many times in my soocial contact list. Hopefully there not synced back to my mac address book.
Any idea why?
First gMail sync creates duplicates, deletes data, mangles addresses

I was running Address Book sync for a few weeks with no apparent problems.
Added gMail sync.
When the first sync happened, I was asked to add 779 contacts to my exisitng 521, which are largely duplicates. I ended up with 1300 contacts. Same number on Soocial site.
I also noticed some key contacts were missing from the gMail contacts, like myself, my wife, co-workers ... strange. Those contacts that are missing from gMail are still in my Address Book.
Duplicates have transposed address fields and if you look at my own contact info it is deleted from Gmail; present and correct in my own Address Book; has four addresses in Soocial, two duplicates with transposed fields.
What should I do? I started to make changes in Address Book to merge manually and make deletions which I am willing to do to get this to work, but perhaps I should just revert back to my backed-up contacts in gMail and Address Book?

Have disabled Soocial on my MacBook after running it for a month or so with no probs - now everytime I turn it on in the preferences it hogs nearly all of the CPU and slows down EVERYTHING. I have changed any settings...

syncing contacts on N95 stops at 260

When I sync my Nokia N95 it gets stuck at sending contact 260 of 1024 and then reports "invalid host address". I now have rather a lot of contacts because something has generated 2 duplicates of every contact. Please let me know if you can help out with this - I'd prefer not to delete all of my contacts and restore them from backup.

Does the sync with Gmail account for new My Contacts versus Suggested Contacts?

On your Gmail Connection page you state that Gmail creates a contact for anyone you have ever emailed. Gmail now separates contacts into My Contacts and Suggested Contacts (which are all contacts ever emailed) so this is no longer correct.
Does Soocial sync with My Contacts or Suggested Contacts?
Syncing crashes

The Soocial sync client on my Mac keeps seeming to get stuck. I have build 1.0b23v4535M on OSX 10.5.4 on a macbook. It was working fine up until around the time I added a google sync. Now, it starts syncing, and sometimes comlpetes, but then seems to get stuck, and continues to give a message "Currently syncing..." and the last sync is from yesterday (I have updated contacts in my address book). It seems that by turning off Soocial and turning it on again it starts to work.

Add new features or ideas you would like to see implemented in Soocial. We will do everything we can to make Soocial rock!

- Gmail (with more than 1 account)

Ability to sync birthdays and pictures
Merging contact manually.

It would be nice to check two contact from list such as a mail contact and a phone contact, then merge them. After i sync with my phone and gmail, i have my friend phone and email contacts separate.
Email addresses are not case sensitive

I don't think the email address field should be case sensitive since email addresses are not case sensitive. When using the password reset page it requires an exact case match.
